This workshop is designed for people that are planning to make their own arrangements for a wedding, baby shower, birthday or special event.
We will start by showing you the 5 main groups of flowers and talk about how they are used in floral design.
We will provide you with a list of useful tools and materials for sustainable floral design and where you can find them
We will then demonstrate how to make a small centrepiece using sustainable foam-free techniques.
We will finish with some hands-on time and help you create 3 of your own bud vases, that you will get to take home!
You will also have the opportunity to ask your own design-specific questions
The goal of this workshop is to give you basic floral knowledge and techniques as well as useful tips to boost your confidence about creating your own arrangements.
Hosted by our design guru, Laura (Flaura Gardens) who is absolutely obsessed with local flowers and talking about and designing with them.
This is a workshop geared toward beginners.
The workshop will run from 1:00-3:00pm on Saturday, May 30th
Workshops are non-refundable.
A minimum of 4 people are required to run this workshop. If that number is not met, a full refund will be provided.
